National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association

Since 2003, PPS has served as the official stats provider and content management system of the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association. With 200+ teams playing in seven regions over an eight-month season, NCRHA needed separate web sites for each region with regional standings, as well as a centralized national web site with national leaders. Naturally, entering their information twice wasn't an option. Centralizing all of NCRHA's info, PPS allowed them to focus time on the league - instead of wasting it on data entry.

In addition to tying all of NCRHA's information together, PPS also designed custom reporting and import tools, allowing NCRHA to track registration and verify player insurance. PPS has worked on-site at the Collegiate Roller Hockey National Championships since 2004.

Professional Inline Hockey Association

Over thirty franchises, including minor and pro teams comprise PIHA, one of the highest-caliber destinations for roller hockey players across the country. PPS lets fans nationwide follow their favorite team and get involved with custom polls and other interactive content.

State Wars Hockey

State Wars broke onto the national roller hockey scene in late 2004 with their unique eligibilty rules and state-based tryout system. Wanting to set themselves apart for their inaugural United States Roller Hockey Championships, State Wars had us design a bevy of custom features you just can't find anywhere else.

After registering online for tryouts, selected players could be easily placed on a team roster by State Wars directors. Months before the start of the tournament, rosters and player profiles were available. Every aspect of State Wars' site was seamless, allowing fans to bounce from player profiles to schedules to tournament information.

PPS worked on-site for State Wars' inaugural tournament in August, 2005. We designed a wide range of custom solutions on the spot, including:

  • Referees selected top players from each game - results tallied to select all-tournament teams
  • Tallying and displaying real-time medal counts for each state
  • A large projection screen in the main councourse displaying a constantly-changing list of divisional scoring leaders, game results and standings - all updated live as the games happened
